Wirra Club – Perth
The Wirra Club, which opened in mid 2005, is the main activity in Perth.
Focus: Keeping indigenous children in school and improving standards of behaviour and achievement.
Location: The Foundation’s Subiaco office.
Resources: The Wirra Club in Perth is equipped with 6 computers, kitchenette and lounge, meeting place, TV, DVD and video facilities
Features of the Wirra Club include:

- Physical activity session provided by Nyoongar Sports Association

Wirra Club Wickham
The Wirra Club Wickham is equipped with 18 computers, a large screen plasma TV and video conferencing facilities.
The club is available to schools by appointment and with the assistance of Foundation staff various projects can be undertaken. These projects include education about anti-social behaviour including abuse, bullying and health and lifestyle issues including substance abuse. The video conference capability to Perth will allow online participation by Perth based mentors David Wirrpanda, Troy Cook and Bianca Franklin to supplement their regional visits.
The Foundation also facilitates guest speakers from local agencies including the Police and Child Mental Health Workers to help teachers address issues such as bullying and abuse.
